About Us

The Home Owner's Resource Guide was created in response to a growing need for new home owners to get help with the different stages of home ownership. The first issue was published in 1999. In the first year only two editions were published, but by 2002 the Guide had become so popular that seven issues were published throughout the year. Each publication represents a different segment of the Twin Cities metro area. The guide is also published in Iowa.

In 2004, the Home Owner's Resource Guide came under new ownership. Also in 2004 the company achieved several key accomplishments including a record number of publications, substantially increased distribution, a new web site and the announcement of the Home Owner's Resource Card rewards program.

The Home Owner's Resource Guide team strives to create the best resources for our users. We continue to make improvements so it will be an even better local resource whether for buying a home, selling a home or making home improvements.
